What Goes In An Invitation Suite?
Congratulations, you're engaged! Now what should you do? After you find the perfect dress and spend hours day dreaming about the type of wedding you want, now it's time to share your vision with all of your guests.
While finding your perfect invitation may just seem like a check mark on your to do list, it is one of the most important details to set the entire tone of your wedding day. So what should you include in your invitation suite?
Invitations
Obviously the main component of your invitation suite will be the invitation itself. Typically sized at 5"x7" this will set the tone of your event and share important details with your guests, including the host, date, time and location.
Included with all of Pink Poppy invitations are A7 (7.25"×5.25″) envelopes. Your guests' names and addresses should be listed on the front with your return address on the back. There are many options for adding the addresses, including handwriting them, hiring a calligrapher or using our envelope printing service. We can design your envelopes to match the font and colors of your invitations to really tie the entire look together.
Response Cards
Also known as RSVP cards, these will help you keep track of who is attending and who cannot make it to your big day. You can also ask for information regarding menu selections, shuttle service needs, what songs they love to dance to - anything you need to know.
It is recommended that the included envelopes for the response cards should be addressed and pre-stamped for your guests to easily put them back in the mail to you.
Enclosure Cards
Many couples choose to share more information with their guests using enclosure cards. If your reception is to be in a separate location from your ceremony consider including a reception card notating the time and location of your reception.
These cards are also great for providing information regarding accommodation recommendations, directions, wedding website information, registry details, morning after brunch details and even midnight pizza after the reception.
